SendBag ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SendBag application for Apple Watch and the associated web services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect
Device Information: When you install the SendBag app, we generate and store a unique identifier for your device along with the technical tokens required to deliver notifications to you. This information is not linked to your personal identity.
Cryptographic Keys: The app generates an RSA key pair on your device. The private key never leaves your device. The public key is stored on our servers for the purpose of encrypting notifications sent to you.
Notification Content: Notification content is encrypted and forwarded to Apple Push Notification service for delivery. We do not store notification content on our servers.
Log Data: Our servers automatically log operational information such as request timestamps and error information for debugging and security purposes. Notification content is not logged.
Information We Do NOT Collect:
- Your name, email address, or other personal contact information (unless you contact us directly)
- Location data
- Payment or financial information (handled exclusively by Apple)
- Information from your Apple Watch or iPhone beyond what is necessary for the Service to function
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To deliver notifications to your device
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To monitor and analyze usage patterns and improve the Service

4. Data Retention
Your device information and public key are retained on our servers until you request deletion. Notification content is not stored on our servers.

- End-to-end encryption for notification content using AES-256 and RSA
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all communications
- Private encryption keys remain exclusively on your device
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Third-Party Services
Our Service uses the following third-party services:
Apple Push Notification service: We use Apple's push notification service to deliver notifications to your device. Encrypted notification content is transmitted through Apple's servers. We encourage you to review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/privacy.
App Store: Subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information.
